I am a process improvement, quality and technical professional with a passion for excellence and innovation coupled with experience of implementing best practices and achieving world class manufacturing performance. My passions are underpinned with a wealth of experience in business management, continuous improvement, research & development and quality functions.

I have experience of leading and managing technical, quality and manufacturing operations including budget and business plan preparation, CapEx justification, collaborating with sales, finance, purchasing and engineering to deliver added value and efficiency improvement.

I have a broad range of skills as a coach, leader, lean six sigma master black belt, chartered quality professional, member of the Chartered Quality Institute, chartered chemist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

This skill set has been employed to improve business performance and create excellence in processes and products across a variety of industries.

Lean Six Sigma
A Lean Six Sigma master black belt with over 20 years experience of process improvement,
gained in different industries and processing environments, influencing and supporting all business functions.

Process improvement is about relentless pursuit of improvement using Deming's Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.

I have experience of both preparing and delivering training in lean and six sigma disciplines.

Industrial Processes
A Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry with Chartered Chemist status having worked in a broad range of industries, improving both manufacturing and service processes.

I have specific knowledge of coating and printing processes, focusing on surface and interfacial chemistry, and coating formulations and properties

I have a thorough understanding of experimental design and interpretation.

Quality and Environment
A certified lead auditor, and IRCA certified QMS auditor, I have implemented electronic document control systems for many different types of certifications, from international standards to customer specific requirements.
